On the Stunningly Beautiful and Insanely Talented Actress and Ballerina, Moira Shearer




She did most of her work on stage and made very few films. But for "The Red Shoes" alone she will certainly go down in history.

Jerry Lewis and Mel Brooks who
were born that year. But,
Yes, her performance in 'Red Shoes' was memorable. As a teenage member of the Greatest
Generation, she toured with a ballet group during the Blitz
living on war rations.
