On the Odds of a Chimpanzee Randomly Typing Out the Word, Evolution

For the sake of simplicity, let's leave out the numbers and punctuation marks. Even after that, the odds are still astronomical; 26 to the 9th power to 1, or 5,429,571,278,976 to 1. And yet this is in essence what the advocates of evolution are asking us to believe, MULTIPLIED BY INFINITY. Look, I'm not saying that the Bible-thumping creationists are correct, either (with many of them in fact being certifiable), just that maybe we still don't know, that's all.

On the Fact that Jimmy Carter Signed Into Law (After Initially Opposing it) the the Steiger Amendment; a Piece of Legislation that Reduced the Top Capital Gains Tax Rate by Nearly 44% (from Over 49% to 28%)

More evidence that Carter was a moderate to conservative Democrat (his douche-bag antics post presidency aside) whose views were much more in sync with JFK and Al Smith than they were progressive buffoons such as FDR, McGovern, etc............................................................................................P.S. And, yes, I've ultimately concluded that Carter was an underrated President (the fact that the guy cut taxes, deregulated various sectors of the economy, brokered a peace between Egypt and Israel, appointed Paul Volcker as Fed Chairman, kept spending relatively low, worked well with the Republicans, etc.) whose failure was at least to some degree the function of dumb luck....Plus he was an honest fellow. Gotta give him some cred for that as well.

Bobby Kennedy on Welfare

"Recent studies have shown, for example, that higher welfare payments often encourage students to drop out of school, that they often encourage families to disintegrate, and that they often lead to lifelong dependency.......There is factual support that welfare was the worst thing that could have happened to the Negro."............So, RFK wasn't a hard-core leftist, either. Interesting.............Sources; "Brothers" by David Talbot and "The Last Patrician" by Michael Beran.

On Blaming Israel Every Time that Someone Slips on a Banana Peel

That's as buffoonish and intellectually lazy as mindlessly defending Israel. But, yeah, that's what it's essentially come down to, sadly; those two extremes.

The Difference Between Social Justice Warriors and Nazis?

The Nazis Read Actual Books Cover to Cover (as Opposed to Internet Blips) and Are Far Less Sanctimonious, Boring, Importunate, etc..

On the Claim Made by British and American Court Historians that the Fire-Bombing of Dresden Killed Less than 20,000 People

Does anybody in his right mind believe that? Yes, the estimates made by others of 300,000 to 400,000 are probably off the mark as well but 18,000 is ridiculous. The fact of the matter is that there were hundreds of thousands of both civilians and refugees in Dresden and a large chunk of them were blown to bits, incinerated, and blown to bits again. AND ALL WHEN THE WAR WAS ESSENTIALLY OVER. Thank you, Winston Churchill, war criminal.

On the Fact that Nixon Once Stated that Mao's Writings "Moved a Nation and Changed the World"

Yeah, nothing about the millions of peasants who starved to death as the result of the fella's policies....Must have slipped his mind and heaven forbid that the U.S.A. ever derail a good pinko toast. Nixon, what an asshole.

On the Fact that Rich Former Journalist, Sam Donaldson, Once Received $97,000 in Sheep and Mohair Subsidies for His New Mexico Farm (http://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/1996/02/why-americans-hate-the-media/305060/)

Not all welfare queens are chubby black chicks, that's for certain.

On the Fact that a Lot of Black Men Still Consider White Men to Be the Devil

Yeah, not white women though. They continue to get a pass.......and sometimes more than that.

On Baltimore's New Freddie Gray Center

Yes, it was a tragedy that the fellow died and, yes, if it can be proven that those six police officers (three of them being black but I digress) were in any way culpable, they should be convicted and sent away. But I have to ask you, do we really want to take federal dollars and commemorate a drug dealer who was selling dope to young black kids? Surely we can find a much more deserving role model and honoree (Robert Woodson, for example).

On the Fact that Jim Webb (the Man Who SHOULD be President) Was One of the Few Politicians in Either Party Who Had the Foresight and Common Sense to Know that a Deposing of Gadaffi in Libya Would Result in a) a Destabilization and b) the Likely Rise of Islamic Extremism in a Country Where it Was Largely Impotent

And the Democrats rejected him for Bernie (a socialist a-hole/dullard) and Hillary (a crooked piece of shit lawyer). How deflating is that?......Man, has that party ever hit the skids.

Tuesday, April 26, 2016

On the Fact that a) the Earth's Climate Is a Chaotic System and b) Because of that Any Attempt at Predicting the Weather Hundreds of Years Into the Future Is a Fool's Errand on Steroids

And yet our fascistic and moronic politicians continue to think otherwise, spout ridiculous claims (that 97% of scientists agree with their views, that CO2 is the primary driver of temperature, that we already possess the technology to significantly decarbonize, etc.), and proclaim that they can control the climate through such idiotic initiatives as cap and trade, a carbon tax, green energy boondoggles, etc.. How utterly embarrassing.

On the Fact that Obama Released Five Top Taliban Operatives (in Exchange for Sargent Bergdahl) at a Time When We Were Still Technically at War in Afghanistan

And that isn't a dereliction of duty how exactly?...............................................................................................P.S. That and he kinda got Clintonian with Congress, too; saying that the White House wasn't in "direct" communication with the Taliban on a prisoner exchange when they were in fact working through the Qataris.

On the Fact that Bill O'Reilly Has Never Once Done a Segment on the Unintended Consequences of the Drug War

That's because he's either an intellectually dishonest person or an imbecile who thinks that concepts are exclusively good or bad depending on one's politics.......At least those are the only two explanations that I can com up with.

On the Fact that Donald Trump Has Done Over a Hundred Tweets Lambasting Megyn Kelly

And his folks have the unmitigated gall to say that SHE is "obsessed" with HIM. Wow, huh?

On the Fact that Bernie Sanders and His Wife Gave 4% of Their Income to Charity this Past Year

Yeah, I had a suspicion that it was a scooch under 90.

On the Fact that "White Flight" Is Always, ALWAYS, Blamed on Racism

So, it has nothing to do with wanting to get away from high crime areas? Really?......I mean, I just assumed that that's why white liberals lived in the suburbs.

On the Fact that the Findings from the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission Didn't Come Out Until a Good Six Months After the Congress Passed the Dodd-Frank Act

While, yes, the findings that this commission came up with were at the very minimum incomplete (not much mention of the Fed's easy money policies, of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac buying up hundreds of thousands of sub-prime loans, of the government's push toward reduced lending standards, of the failure of government-backed ratings agencies, etc.), would not it have been a much more prudent plan of action to determine what went wrong first and THEN try and fix it, as opposed to the other way around? I'm just asking.

On Otto Preminger's 1967 Movie, Hurry Sundown

Far from a masterpiece (and certainly not on a par with some of Preminger's other classics; "Laura", "Anatomy of a Murder", "The Cardinal", etc.) but any movie that has a 26 year-old Faye Dunaway, a 29 year-old Jane Fonda, and a 31 year-old Diahann Carroll certainly can't be all bad. Not in my book, at least.

On Ideas

They don't have rights. No yours, not mine, not anyone's.

On the Fact that One of the Primary Goals of the Dodd-Frank Act Is Financial Stability

Sound good but as any sane economist will tell you, powerful markets do not advance through stability but through dynamism (creative destruction, as Schumpeter called it). And what kind of an idiotic lawmaker would ever come up with such a concept as "systemically significant" (leaving it up to government regulators to define it later of course), in which the regulators quite literally have a stake in making sure that these banks and other financial institutions don't fail AND STILL MAINTAIN THAT YOU'RE GETTING RID OF "TOO BIG TO FAIL"? I mean, does that make any sense to you? It sure as hell doesn't to me.

On Why I Can't Vote For Donald

Two main reasons. a) He's a protectionist/nativist who's obviously never read a single page of Bastiat (mustn't have been on the reading-list at Wharton) and b) the fellow doesn't have the temperament to spearhead the world's largest military or to even be a respectable actor on the world's stage (and in a world that's already filled to the brim with clowns like Merkel, Cameron, Netanyahu, Putin, etc., that's saying quite a bit). Not that Mrs. Clinton's all that appreciably better, mind you, but, yeah, if you held a gun to my head, I probably have to pick her.

On Folks Like Bernie Sanders and Van Jones Saying that White People Use Drugs Just as Much as Black People Do but that Black People Are Disproportionately Prosecuted for Drug-Related Offenses

They're wrong. a) Black folks tend to lie to surveyors much more when it comes to drug use (key studies from the "Journal of Urban Health" and "Addictive Behaviors", the fact that blacks are three and a half times mote likely to end up in the emergency room due to drugs, etc.) and b) they also tend to commit violent crimes at a much higher rate when dealing drugs and the drug charge is generally just an add-on (a minuscule number of folks are in prison just for small-time dealing - I refer you to the top-notch research of Heather MacDonald). I mean, yeah, we could of course argue about the causes and the solutions here but that's a wholly different story and wouldn't it be nice if these bozos in the media and in politics knew how to interpret data and ditched these fucking narratives? That would help a great deal, I think.

Friday, April 22, 2016

On the Fact that During the Most Recent Climate Change Pow Wow in Paris, the Vice President of the Natural Resources Defense Council Attempted to Make a Big Deal Over the Fact that India Has as One of its Goals a 40% Reduction in Carbon-Based Energy Usage and Then Tried to Shame the U.S. into Matching that Goal

Yeah, he neglected to mention the fact that the vast majority of that reduction will be brought about not by wind and solar but by nuclear and hydro, both of which the NRDC majorly opposes but in this instance was willing to look the other way at simply to make a cheap political point. How fucking dishonest is that?

On the Fact that I'd Be Hard-Pressed to Come Up with More than Three Things that this Fellow Has Said Over the Past Twelve Months that Hasn't Either Been Silly, Banal, or Infuriating (that the Victims of Rape Shouldn't Be Permitted to Terminate Their Pregnancy, for Example)

I get a strange sensation that I'm not alone with this (and, yes, it's because of fellows like this; Cruz, Huckabee, and Santorum, that I could never become a Republican).

On the Fact that it Apparently Takes $33,000 to Meet Hillary Clinton and George Clooney These Days

Yeah, that's about $32,999.99 more than I'd be willing to dish out.......On a generous day.

On the Fact that a Significant Majority of Republicans (Barry Goldwater Included) Actually Voted AGAINST Kennedy's Tax Cut Proposal in '63 and '64

Still don't think that the two parties (yep, both of 'em) have changed over the years?

On the Fact that (According to Arthur Schlesinger's Book, "A Thousand Days") Bertrand Russell Once Said of JFK that He Was "Much More Wicked than Hitler"

Yeah, that Hitler-card sure does have a pedigree. Damn, huh?.......................................................................................................P.S. This of course isn't to say that guys like Russell, Pauling, Halberstam, and Lamont didn't have some legitimate concerns (the fact that the Vietnam conflict had quagmire written all over it, the fact that the Diem government in South Vietnam was at least in the ballpark in terms of harshness with that of Ho Chi Minh's in the North, the fact that the Bay of Pigs was at the very minimum ineptly executed, etc.) but, come on here, Hitler? Really?

On the Assertion that Women Should Be Believed Absolutely

It's ludicrous and it's patronizing. Of course women lie and they probably do it as often as men do (http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0165176511003843). That and do we really and truly want to put men away for 20 years just 'cause the woman had some second thoughts the next day? Come on!

On the Fact that if Black Lives Really and Truly Mattered, Then it Shouldn't Matter One Iota Who Does the Murdering and Yet it Apparently Does

Yeah, it's pure politics with a healthy dose of hypocrisy and intellectual dishonesty thrown in for good measure (the fact that the black murder rate is six times that of whites with the perpetrators being other black folks 93% of the time). Don't take it seriously, folks.

On Spin Classes

What's next? Climbing out of some primordial morass learning how to stand upright classes? Eating with a knife and a fork classes? Properly applying deodorant classes? I mean, where does it end and could we possibly be any more helpless, for Christ?

Wednesday, April 20, 2016

On the Fact that (According to Kyle Longley's Biography on Al Gore Sr.) JFK Would Routinely Refer to Senator Gore as a "Son of a Bitch"

It appears that Mr. Kennedy had no use for leftist jerks like Gore who always played the class-warfare card and who constantly referred to his tax-cut proposal as a "bonanza for fat-cats", and good for him, I say (the fact that statists like Gore apparently think that they have a God-given right other people's livelihoods and need quite frankly to be put in their place by those who think otherwise).

On the Fact that on Many College Campuses These Days, Emotional Discomfort in Response to Opinions and Ideas Is Now Seen as Literally Equivalent To Material Injury and Prosecutable Through Title 9 and Various Other Bureaucratic BS

Free speech at the "academy" is essentially on life-support and if the grown-ups in charge of these institutions actually think that this form of coddling is helpful in terms of preparing students for life after college THEY'RE IDIOTS (the fact that people are challenged every day in life and there aren't now nor will there ever be "safe spaces").

On the Fact that Pistons Center, Andre Drummond, Shot 4 of 16 from the Free-Throw Line Tonight

95% of the high school female players shoot a better percentage than that and as far as I know none of them are in line for a $120,000,000 contract extension. Yep, life is strange.

On Going from an Anarcho-Captitalist Libertarian Who Worshiped Ayn Rand and Who Thoroughly Despised the Progressive Left to Somebody Who Essentially Signs-Off on Every Cockamamie Leftist Notion Under the Damned Sun from Demonizing Fossil Fuels to Playing the Race-Card to Demagoguing on Income Inequality, Class Warfare, etc.

That is exponentially far from normal behavior and, yes, when you throw in the whole Jersey McJones alter-ego, it's damned near psychotic.

On the Democratic Socialists of America (Bernie's Fellow Fascist Buddies) Website Stating that "In the Short Term, We Can't Eliminate Private Corporations but We Can Bring Them Under Democratic Control"

The key words here of course being, IN THE SHORT TERM (meaning that in the long term government confiscation on such a frightening scale is exactly what these assholes want). And don't you just love the way that they mask this whole tyrannical use of government force in such flowery jargon as "democratic control", as opposed to what it truly is - theft? Of course, the saddest part of all is the fact that its effective, with the average voter in America being a) dumber than a box of rocks (all too willing to accept the whole "free lunch" narrative) and b) easily bribed ("free stuff for me!!").......Yeah, I'm not very optimistic here.

Monday, April 18, 2016

On the Fact that (According to Historians as Divergent as Howard Zinn, John Gillingham, and Richard Hofstadter) Nearly Two-Thirds of the White People Who Came to North America Came in Chains (as Indentured Servants) and a Significant Percentage of Them Failed to Survive Their Seven Year Term (the Fact that the White Slaves Were Probably Treated Worse than the Black Ones Because the Black Ones Were Seen as Lifelong Investments) - Quick Addendum

Oh, and the survival rate of the Irish Slaves sent to Barbados by the loathsome Oliver Cromwell - yeah, that was damned close to zero percent (http://www.amazon.com/Hell-Barbados-Ethnic-Cleansing-Ireland/dp/0863222870/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1461025278&sr=1-1&keywords=to+hell+or+barbados). Just for the record here.

On the Fact that (According to Historians as Divergent as Howard Zinn, John Gillingham, and Richard Hofstadter) Nearly Two-Thirds of the White People Who Came to North America Came in Chains (as Indentured Servants) and a Significant Percentage of Them Failed to Survive Their Seven Year Term (the Fact that the White Slaves Were Probably Treated Worse than the Black Ones Because the Black Ones Were Seen as Lifelong Investments)

And where are the monuments for these folks?

On the Fact that Whatever Wealth Was Created by Slavery Was Entirely Obliterated by the Civil War

Yeah, that kinda decimates the entire "slavery built America and so reparations need to be made" argument, I would think.

Sunday, April 17, 2016

On the Fact that the Black Arrest Rate Is Nearly Identical to the Statistics Derived from the National Crime Victimization Survey

This all but demolishes the charge that blacks are arrested disproportionately to the crime that they commit in that it makes no sense whatsoever that victims would falsely accuse black folks as opposed to trying to nail the true perpetrator. It also seems to point out that, while, yes, there are no doubt some biased cops out there, the vast majority of those in law enforcement are simply doing their jobs and apprehending who they're supposed to.......Unless of course you're paranoid.

On the Democratic Socialists of America Website Stating that "the Workers Who Are Affected by Economic Institutions Should Own and Control Them"

So, the entrepreneur who came up with the idea and who took all the risks, that individual, through the threat of government force and violence, has to relinquish ownership of HIS (or her) business to his employees? That's what Bernie and his socialist colleagues think? Wow, huh?

President Kennedy to the Organizers of the 1963 March on Washington

"Now, isn't it possible for the Negro community to take the lead in committing major emphasis upon the responsibility of these families, even if they're split and all the rest of the problems they have, on educating their children? Now, in my opinion, the Jewish community, which suffered a good deal under discrimination, and what a great effor they made, which I think has made their role influential, was in education: education of their children. And therefore they've been able to establish a pretty strong position for themselves.......With all the influence that you gentlemen have in the Negro community....... you really have to concentrate on what I think the Jewish community has done on educating their children, on making them stay in school, and all the rest."............I guess that he never got the memo on how Democratic candidates are supposed to pander to the black population (a la Clinton, a la Sanders) and, youza, have times ever changed (with identity politics being stressed more than ever now).

Saturday, April 16, 2016

On the Fact that, While I'm Not a Huge Trump Supporter (Johnson's My Candidate), I Do Take Some Solace from the Likelihood that at Least the Dude Won't be Forced to Run his Campaign from a Prison Cell or from a Pre-1990 Time-Machine in Which the Old Soviet Union Still Exists

Yep, there is that.

On the Fact that in Order to Spend a Day in Newport, You Have to Dish Out $4 to Drive Over the Claiborne Pell Bridge to Get There and Then $4 More to Get Back Out

So yeah, eight bucks altogether (this and the fucking bridge still sucks like a washboard) and it's still not enough apparently. Man, do we ever need some reforms here.

On the Fact that the Afrikaners Not Only Surrendered Without Having Been Vanquished, They Gave Away the Entire Store While Doing so

Name one other population in the world that would have done such a thing (piety clearly trumping logic and common sense here). None, right? And it did NOT have to go down this way. As Ilana Mercer (herself a lifelong opponent of Apartheid) has consistently pointed out, the opportunity for a coalition government with Zulu leader Mangosuthu Buthelezi and General Constand Viljoen (a tough but fair-minded Afrikaner) sharing power was all but there for the taking and it wasn't until the West came in with this ANC crap (the ANC was never an indigenous movement but rather a Soviet one) and head-scratching romanticism of Mandela that we ended up with what we have today (one of the most corrupt governments on the face of the planet). WHEN WILL WE EVER LEARN TO MIND OUR OWN DAMNED BUSINESS?

On (Kennedy Aid) Ted Sorenson's Claim that JFK's Speech to the Economic Club of New York Which Stressed the Need for Across the Board Tax Cuts (as Well as a Cut in the Capital Gains Rate) Sounded "More Like Herbert Hoover"

Sorenson must have been an idiot in that anybody who's ever examined the actual record would have known that Hoover raised the top marginal rate by 158% (from 245 to 62%) and that Hoover (he of the "beneficent hand") wasn't any more of a Coolidge/Harding Republican than Kennedy was a Roosevelt/Stevenson Democrat. Thankfully JFK didn't listen to economically illiterate stiffs a la Sorenson, Arthur Schlesinger, Al Gore Sr., etc. and eschewed the Keynesian deficit-spending model and the rest is as they say history.

On the Fact that (According to a Study by Tomohide Yasuda Called "Food Safety Regulations in the United States") There Exists No Positive Correlation Between the FDA's Food Safety Budget and Disease Statistics

So essentially like education and Pentagon spending, in other words. Just great.

On Dialogues in Which Only One Side Is Permitted to Express Grievances

Those aren't dialogues but tutorials in which one side is held captive, force-fed demagoguery, and made to feel guilt, shame, etc.. Thanks but no thanks, President Obama.

Friday, April 15, 2016

On the Fact that the Young Turks Think that Muslim Immigrants Raping European Women en Masse Is a "Nuanced Situation" but that Gun Control Is a Clear Cut Example of Good Versus Evil with the NRA of Course Being the Evil Participant

I have never seen a more doltish bunch of partisan schmucks in my life (with Anna Kasparian quite literally making Sarah Palin sound like a mixture of Marie Curie, Margaret Chase Smith and Virginia Wolf) and, yes, it continues to amaze me that anyone with an IQ greater than a kiwi would listen to such shit. Nuanced or not.

On Walking on Beale Street in Memphis at Midnight

Probably best not to (unless of course you're a liberal, then it's fine).

On the Fact that in a Lot of Inner-Cities the Black Criminals Are Seen as Heroes and the Cops Are Seen as Villains

And clowns like Sharpton, Bryant, and Harris-Perry are invested to the gills in making it stay that way.

Note to Dabo Swinney (Clemson Head Football Coach)

Yeah, you're picking up the check next time, bra' (a reference to his new $30,000,000 contact extension).

Wednesday, April 13, 2016

On the Fact that Hillary Clinton's Lead Over Bernie Sanders in New York Seems to Be Shrinking

It's obviously not good news for Mrs. Clinton but if I was her I'd probably be a shitload more concerned about the Justice Department and FBI primaries than the New York one, 'cause if Miss Hillary loses those two everything else is purely academic.

On the Fact that Couple of Psychotic Trolls Now Have a Shitload More Time on Their Hands

Just consider it my gift to society.

On the Fact that ISIS Only Has a Couple of Tanks and Yet if You Listened to the Brain-Dead Neocon Schmucks on Fox You'd Think that They Were on the Verge of Taking Over Atlanta, Baton Rouge, and Cincinnati

Yes, a person who is inspired by ISIS and/or loosely affiliated with them could potentially blow themselves to smithereens in a subway station but to think that we're going to end that carnage via additional carnage in the Middle-East is preposterous (the fact that the radicals will simply find an alternative source of inspiration with the fact that we'd be dropping more bombs on Muslims being amongst those alternatives!) and one of the main reasons why I'm boycotting Fox News. Neocons - yuck!

Tuesday, April 12, 2016

On William Kristol's Paranoiac Neocon Concern that China Wishes to Be the Preeminent Naval Power in the South China Sea

Yeah, that would be like China worrying about the U.S. being the preeminent naval power in the Caribbean Sea, Mississippi Delta, and the Gulf of Mexico. If you're asking me, this is just Kristol (as he is often prone to do) looking for additional enemies 'cause as I'm sure that you're aware by now you can never have too many of 'em (neocon 101).

On the Democratic Socialists of America Website Proclaiming that it Is a Long-Term Goal of Socialism to "Eliminate All but the Most Enjoyable Kinds of Labor" and that Until this Can Happen "These Tasks Will Be Spread Among as Many People as Possible Rather than Distributed on the Basis of Class, Race, Ethnicity, Gender, etc. as They Are Under Capitalism"

So, these idiots think that diaper-changing, garbage-collecting, burger-flipping, sewage-maintaining, embalming, pest-controlling, etc. are simply going to happen some day magically? I mean, yeah, some of this stuff might evaporate through automation EVENTUALLY (a double-edged sword for low-skill workers in that it potentially robs them of the chance to develop rudimentary work-related skills) but certainly not all of it and certainly not tomorrow..................................................................................................And how exactly do these fascistic pricks propose that we divvy out these dirty often thankless jobs OTHER THAN THROUGH THE BARREL OF A GUN, GOVERNMENT COERCION, ETC.? Yeah, they don't exactly specify and seriously, do we really want to force doctors, architects, and chemists to waste their talents flipping burgers just to salve the consciences of some paranoiac leftist idiots? Me - I vote, no.

Vladimir Lenin on Democracy

"Democracy is indispensable to socialism." Well at least he got one thing right.

On the Fact that (According to the American College of Pediatricians and a Study from Vanderbilt University) 70 to 80% of Children Who Express Transgender Feelings Ultimately Lose Those Feelings Over Time - http://www.childhealing.com/articles/transsexualIssues.php - http://www.acpeds.org/the-college-speaks/position-statements/gender-ideology-harms-children

So, yet another issue that we've run head-first into while being driven much more by ideological BS than by a sober analysis of the facts.......And honestly, I did NOT see this one coming.

On the Fact that College Students All Throughout the Country Are Currently Being "Triggered" Simply by Hearing the Name, Trump

So we're basically churning out defenseless morons who have to be pampered and who will ultimately face the greatest shock in human history when they come to Jesus and see that the real world doesn't function that way. Just great.

Note to ISIS

Hey guys, I have a suggestion. Instead of engaging in mass-executions and suicide attacks, you try a little something different. Like, I don't know, maybe construct a functional sewage system, hire a few traffic cops, build and maintain a half-way reliable electrical grid - you know, basic civilization stuff. No, it isn't as exciting as playing soldier or as psychologically comforting as thinking that there's a actually god who rewards murder and mayhem with an afterlife of unlimited jail-bait but you gotta grow up sometime, fellas'.

On Something Called Cultural Appropriation (White Folks Wearing Dreadlocks, Sombreros, Head-Dresses, etc.)

I'll take, "Unimpeachable Evidence that the West and its Minorities Have Officially Run Out of Childish, Perplexing, and Idiotic Things to Be Offended by", for a thousand, Alex.............................................................................................P.S. And if you don't think that this is stupid, just try and imagine how you'd feel if a white person had accosted a black woman just because she had dyed her hair blond and was wearing green contact lenses....Yeah, huh?

Sunday, April 10, 2016

On the Fact that in the U.K, a Person Can Get Arrested (per Section 127 of the U.K. Communications Act of 13 Years Ago) Simply for Listing the Atrocities of Muhammad as They Are Specifically Laid Out in Both the Hadiths and Koran

A lot of people just assume that Europeans have free speech. They don't. And they especially don't have it when it comes to criticizing Islam and their respective government's policies of dealing with it. They're just supposed to suck it up (the coughing up of tax dollars up, the astronomical increase in sexual assaults, the prevalence of no-go zones, Sharia courts, etc., the rapid demographic changes that will soon make Europeans the minority in their own damned countries, etc.), I guess.......Oh, and if you think that I'm overreacting, Abu Imram - Google that lunatic asshole's name and get back to me.

Saturday, April 9, 2016

An Excellent Debate on Income Inequality

And, yes, the leftists lost again (per polling of the audience before and after the debate).

On the Fact that the Guardian Recently Accused Jian Ghomeshi's Defense Attorneys (in Ghomeshi's Much-Celebrated Sexual Abuse Trial) of "Undermining the Testimony of Complainants"

Yeah, they call that cross-examination, and I'm pretty sure that those leftist nut-jobs over at the Guardian would speak approvingly of it if they were ever falsely accused of a crime (as what appears to be the case with Ghomeshi; the fact that the alleged victims lied repeatedly and if anything they were stalking him with emails, phone-calls, etc.).

On the Fact that (According to the National Violence Against Women Survey and the Centers for Disease Control) Women Are Actually Abused More in Lesbian Relationships than They Are in Heterosexual Relationships

Yet another inconvenient fact for the patriarchy conspiracy nut-cases - http://www.advocate.com/crime/2014/09/04/2-studies-prove-domestic-violence-lgbt-issue - and where in the fuck is the media on this? I mean, do they always have to rubber-stamp these brain-diseased narratives?

On the Fact that a Great Many Leftist Feminists in Europe Would Seemingly Rather Get Raped by an Illiterate, Violent, and Egregiously Medieval Piece of Shit Scumbag Savage than Have One of Their White European Male Counterparts Defend Them in that that Would Be Racist

And the slow-bleed European suicide continues.

Friday, April 8, 2016

On the Concept that One Person Stealing from Another Is Wrong but that if Enough People Vote on it it Isn't Wrong

I guess that we're simply not supposed to think about it that way, 'cause if we did.......

On the Fact that (According to Ben Bradlee's Book, "Conversations with Kennedy") as a First Step Toward Reducing Federal Spending, JFK Cut the Salaries of Top White House Aids by About 7%

Seriously, can you imagine if Obama or even Bush had done something similar to this? The progressive shit would have hit the fan and I really have to ask you, where, prey tell, ARE the courageous politicians these days. I mean, they're certainly not in the Democratic or Republican parties.

Thursday, April 7, 2016

On Hillary Clinton Accusing Donald Trump of "Playing Coy with White Supremacists"

So, kind of like her with Saudi Arabia (the fact that that slush-fund of hers, the Clinton Global Initiative, receives millions of dollars in donations from the Saudi Royal family while Hillary - that self-proclaimed champion of women - never utters a peep about how that country treats its women like shit), in other words? Yeah, I get it.

On the Fact that the Impulse of Envy Has Gotten so Great in America that the Default/De Facto Position Is Now Anti-Entrepreneur

Yeah, it's a dangerous mindset, and if it gets as bad as it was during the Hoover and Roosevelt era, we're fucked.

On the Fact that (According to Numerous Rankings of Economic Freedom; The Fraser Institute, The Heritage Foundation, The Wall Street Journal, etc.) a) the Scandinavian Countries (Denmark, Especially) Aren't Even Remotely as Socialistic as Most People Think and b) on Certain Indices (Corporate Taxation, Property Rights, Regulations, etc.) They're Actually MORE Free than the U.S.A.

And yet we still have low-information dolts like Bernie Sanders going around saying that the U.S. needs to be more like those Scandinavian socialist countries. Time-warp, anybody?

On the Fact that Some Fascistic Statist Apologists Are Now Referring to the Loathsome Practise of Civil Asset Forfeiture as "Equitable Sharing"

Well, it's certainly got a much better ring to it than, "Holding a Gun to Somebody's Head and Stealing Their Private Property Absent Charges and Simply Because We Can and Fuck You if You Happen Not to Like it". Granted, it isn't as accurate but close enough for government work................................................................................................P.S. And, yes, you really have to wonder about the sick mother-fucker who devised that moniker, equitable sharing. He or she had to have been either a total lunatic or a brain-diseased bureaucratic buffoon, possibly both.

On the Fact that There Are Still Tens of Millions Of Slaves in the World with the Vast Majority of Them Residing in Sub-Saharan Africa (with Mauritania Being the Worst Country) and South Asia (India, Pakistan, etc.) - http://articles.latimes.com/2013/oct/17/world/la-fg-wn-slavery-africa-20131017

Alright, let's see if I've gotten this straight. Europe and North America, which engaged in the least amount of slavery, and which deep-sixed it prior to any other culture, we're the only bad guys and the only people on the planet who have to pay penance in perpetuity?...Sorry but that doesn't seem right to me.

On Solomon Luckie

Yeah, he was a free black man from Georgia who got blown to smithereens by an explosive during Sherman's three week shelling of Atlanta (the dude was a barber - sooooooooo threatening). Just try leaning about him in your average history book.

On that Disgusting Rap Song Which Threatens Donald Trump with an AK-47, a Shovel, and Various Others Weapons

Can you imagine if a bunch of militia members had engaged in such behavior while threatening Mrs. Clinton? Yeah, I don't think that it would have been sloughed off as some sort of joke.......And look at these assholes. They're unemployable and, yes, Donald Trump is the least of their problems.

On the Fact that Former Political Operative/Advisor, Roger Stone, Has Authored a Book that Is Harshly Critical of the Clintons and Another One that Is Harshly Critical of the Bushes

Yeah, he should definitely beef up his security (going after not one but two crime families).

One Former Slave's Memory of "Uncle Billy"

"Soon a Yankee was let down in the well, and all that money, silver, gold, jewelry, watches, rings, brooches, knives and forks, butter-dishes, waiters, goblets, and cups was took and carried 'way by an army that seemed more concerned 'bout stealin', than they was 'bout the Holy War for the liberation of the poor African slave people. They took all the horses, sheep, cows, chickens, and geese; took the seine and the fishes they caught, corn in crib, meat in smoke-house, and everything. Marse General Sherman said war was hell. It sho' was. Maybe it was hell for some of them Yankees when they come to die and give account of the deeds they done in Sumter and Richland Counties." 87 year-old Henry D. Jenkins of Fairfield County, South Carolina, circa 1936 - Slave Narratives, South Carolina, volume 14, part 3, pages 3, 23, and 26.......Yeah, it doesn't sound like he thought that much of his blue-clad "liberators" (liberated to starve was more like it).

JFK to Bernie Sanders (Kind of) - Part 2

"I am opposed to excessive, unjustified, or unnecessary government intervention in the economy- to needlessly unbalanced budgets and centralized government.......I do not believe that Washington should do for the people what they can do for themselves through local and private effort. There is no magic attached to tax dollars that have been to Washington and back." JFK in an October 12th, 1960 speech on economic policy.......Wow, huh? Talk about a precipitous decline; from Grover Cleveland, Al Smith, and JFK to Sanders. It doesn't get any steeper than that.

On Cruz Operative, Andrea McWilliams, Attempting to Make Hay Over the Fact that Melania Trump Would Be America's "First Foreign-Born First Lady in a Century" (Clearly Implying that that Would Be a Bad Thing)

Well, being that Senator Cruz himself was born in Canada, that was either a brain-fart of the highest magnitude or pure, unadulterated chutzpah. I'll leave it to the reader to decide.

On the Fact that the Federal Government Now Takes More Private Property from its Citizens (Through Civil Asset Forfeiture) than Burglars Do - https://www.illinoispolicy.org/law-enforcement-now-seizes-more-property-from-citizens-than-burglars/

Yes, some of the people targeted are criminals but a lot of them aren't (shop-keepers who don't take credit cards and who only accept cash, for example), and none of them are ever presumed innocent. Of course, the real scary thing here is that the problem may even be worse than this. According to the libertarian Institute for Justice, a) state and local police forces are also abusing this practise and b) a lot of the stolen property (yeah, that's what I call it) ends up off the books and so the tally may in fact be much higher.......Oh, and most of the people being hurt by this; yeah, they tend to be poor and working class (yet another huge blind-spot for those social-justice warriors out there).

On the Fact that One of Kennedy's Main Campaign Attacks in 1960 (His Speeches Are Meticulously Chronicled in Ira Stoll's Fascinating Biography and at the Web-Site, presidency.ucsb.edu) Was His Consistent Claim that the Eisenhower-Nixon Administration Had a) Unsafely Weakened Our Defenses and b) Allowed the Spread of Communism in Asia, Africa, Cuba, and Eastern Europe (He Was Especially Critical of Eisenhower for Not Having Helped Hungary in 1956)

Why has history whitewashed this? I mean, it doesn't take a genius to realize that, while Nixon was hardly a communist patsy, the real hawk in that 1960 election was Kennedy. He proved it in the debates (which I suggest that you watch on Youtube), in his speeches, and in his collected works, "The Strategy of Peace" (with peace of course coming through strength), and for the leftist historians to ignore this topic is at the very least peculiar. Me, I'm thinking that they're either delusional or intentionally trying to preserve the Kennedy myth of him as a liberal icon. Thankfully, most of us can read.

On that Doltish Boston Sports Reporter (I Refuse to Mention His Name) Who Recently Claimed that UConn Was Bad for Women's College Basketball (the Fact that They're too Dominant, I Guess)

And I'm sure that he would have said the same exact thing if BC or UMass was dominating.......Yeah, right.

On the Fact that the Left Loves to Rob Their "Minority" Constituents of ANY Free-Thinking and Autonomy and to Vilify Those Who Even Attempt to Deviate

I would call it a racket but that would be much too kind. Pure, unadulterated, and metastasizing (the fact that this shit now permeates academia, the media, large chunks of the Democratic party, numerous pressure and special interest groups, etc.) fascism - that's what it truly is................................................................................................P.S. From the black perspective, David Carroll refers to it as the Negro Inquisition and, yes, he ought to know.

On the Fact that Trump Allowed Himself to get Punked by the Smarmy, Hero-Worshiping, Intellectually-Challenged, Nearly Unwatchable, and Bonkers Left-of-Center TV Host, Chris Matthews

How embarrassing is that? I mean, if you can't match wits with a slant-headed, buffoonish wack-job like Matthews, what chance do you have amongst world leaders? Maybe the "establishment" is right for a change.............................................................................................................P.S. And as far as abortion (the issue that Trump flubbed) goes, I don't that Trump gives a rat's ass about it and that dullard response to Matthews was strictly what he thought that his target audience wanted hear. The dude was pandering, in other words.

On the Fact that a Leftist Federal Judge in Cincinnati Who Had Recently Outlawed Racial Profiling Ultimately Fell Prey to a Home Invasion and the First Words Out of the Chick's Mouth Were, "Black Guys"

Sanctimonious, bleeding-heart liberals getting mugged and then showing their true colors - it doesn't get any better than that, for sure.

On the Brilliance and Versatility of Berkshire Photographer, Denise B. Chandler

Stunning, and kind of a legend up there (her works having been displayed at the Berkshire Museum and Chesterwood). I strongly suggest that you check out her web-site - http://www.denisebchandler.com/

On the Fact that Mrs. Clinton HAS to Know that Bernie Sanders is Monumentally Full of Shit and a Total Lunatic but Because the Democratic Primary Voters Are Just as Outside the Mainstream as Those on the Republican Side She's Afraid to Bitch-Slap Him and Has Even Tried to Match His Leftist Pandering at Times

This is exactly why democracies have a penchant to devour themselves (the fact that people when given the choice will almost always vote for those who promise them the most while making others pay for it) and why the Founding Fathers created a Republic instead. Hopefully we still have enough checks and balances to ward off a total collectivist coup and right out fiscal ship. 'Cause if we don't, watch out.
