On the Fact that Numerous Osage Tribesmen Ultimately Joined Forces with Custer's 7th Cavalry During the Latter's Pursuit of Those Cheyenne Raiders Who Had Slaughtered Hundreds of Settlers Along the Solomon River Earlier In the Year

Yeah, I guess that those old Osage fellas didn't care for it much when countless Cheyenne war-parties took to raiding their villages, killing their women and children, etc...…..and I can't say that I blame 'em. Do you?...…………………………………………………………………..P.S. Here's one narrative example of an Osage Indian scout exacting revenge on a Cheyenne warrior (courtesy of Kansas Newsman, DeBenneville Keim) - "Frantically gesticulating, he fell upon the body with the ferocity of a beast of prey, and severed the throat from ear to ear. Again he stood erect, his whole frame quivering with rage. Once more he fell upon the lifeless form. Completely severing the head from the trunk, he took his knife between his teeth, clutched the gory object in both hands, and raising it high above him, dashed it upon the ground at his feet."......Yeah, I guess that the Cheyenne had murdered and decapitated his wife and so, what the fuck, he must have figured. AGAIN, can't say that I blame him.
