I'm not certain how his ownership of the Dallas Mavericks plays into this. On the one hand the value of a sports franchise tends to increase over the years but on the other hand a lot of these same franchises tend to bleed cash over the course of a season (2020 being especially devastating). My suspicion is that the Mavs are just a plaything for the fellow, that he makes most of his money through other aspects of his business, and that 176th isn't even remotely a problem.
