Another Newtonian Physic

Every time I think that Newt Gingrich can't possibly go any lower, he ends up going significantly lower. It seems as if the former speaker is now giving credence to the despicable words of one Dinesh D'Souza; that President Obama's father was a "philandering, inebriated African socialist, who raged against the world for denying him the realization of his anti-colonial ambitions" (I guess that Mr.s D'Souza - his own people having been victimized by European colonialism - and Gingrich represent the PRO-colonial wing of the Republican party), that the President's father was also a "polygamist", a "wife beater", and a "drunk driver", and that the President himself is "only living out his father's dream, that the "invisible father provides the inspiration and that the "son dutifully gets the job done, and that "America today is governed by a ghost." Mr. Gingrich calls these "assessments" by D'Souza "the most profound insights I have read in the last six years about Barack Obama and, yes, agrees with D'Souza that President Obama has indeed been pursuing a "Kenyan anti-colonial agenda."...............................................................................................WHERE DO I EVEN START? Hm, how 'bout here. Let us assume that everything Mr. D'Souza has said about President Obama's father is accurate (no, it apparently isn't but, just for the sake of argument, I'm saying). Since when in this country do we punish the son for the crimes of the father? Joe Kennedy Sr. was frigging anti-Semite/Nazi sympathizer who got his sorry ass canned by FDR in the '30s. All of this, me-buckos, and, yet, HIS SONS (JFK and RFK, especially, but, yes, Teddy, too) grew up to be great American heroes. Why couldn't the same ultimately be true for President Obama? I mean, come on here, he isn't even half-way through his first term in office................................................................................................And then there are the merits (or lack thereof) of Mr. Gingrich's specific charge. I mean, think about it, folks. He's calling a guy who recently sent 30,000 American troops to Afghanistan and who's frigging bombing the tar out of northern Pakistan a Kenyan anti-colonial. Does that frigging make any sense - at all? And what about, too, the fact that he blew those Somali pirates to hell and back? Anti-colonial - yeah, right................................................................................................Look, folks, I do not in any way enjoy this (i.e., the ripping of new ones). But what Mr.s Gingrich and D'Souza are doing here is flat-out wrong. Yes, Mr. Obama is a flawed President/person (and, yes, the citizenry is free to vote him out if they wish to), but he's also a decent man and he does NOT deserve this type of treatment and innuendo............................................................................................P.S. Before anybody accuses me of partisanship here, please, let it be known, I also defended Mr.s Bush (charges of Nazism) and McCain (charges of collaborating with the North Vietnamese) when they were being smeared. Consistency, folks, is what I'm mostly striving for here.

D'Souza's crackpot theories regarding President Obama are in line with another work of fiction he wrote, "The Enemy at Home: The Cultural Left and Its Responsibility for 9/11". It's more of the same nonsense concerning how the Left hates America. Neither he nor the philandering hypocrite Gingrich are interested in engaging in rational political discourse. I don't know why anyone listens to anything either of these far-right clowns has to say. They should be ridiculed and shunned.

If we point to any president and say he is trying (or did try) to realize the dreams of his father, I say it is GWB. George's (grand) father did business with the Nazis. And Junior's administration (especially the two SCOTUS judges he appointed) did move us further down the road toward fascism.

I do NOT recall anyone making any charges of actual Nazism against GWB... only metaphorical ones. The Patriot Act, Free Speech Zones, NSPD 51 and other bush administration unconstitutional power grabs... I would describe them all as Nazi-ish.

I published a comment to this thread already. Blogger is obviously designating my comments as Spam. If you could check your spam folder you will probably find my comment there. This is getting really annoying. It has also happened to me on Truth's blog, where I attempted to publish a comment several times before giving up...........

I'm guessing that blogger doesn't like "excessive" links, so here is my post again without any. Let's see if it stays published this time..........

Will, I commented to this post TWICE. Obviously blogger thinks my posts are SPAM. I give up. Maybe it would help if you go into your spam folder and tell blogger my comment isn't spam... maybe I won't be flagged in the future... I don't know. My post had several links in it and I guessed that might be the reason I was being designated as SPAM. So I took out the links. Blogger deleted my comment again. If you go into your SPAM folder just publish the first comment and delete the second. Thanks.

I am totally computer illiterate, wd. I wasn't aware that I even had a spam folder on this blog. I'll hunt around and see what I can find......If it makes you feel any better, I lose (that error 503 thingy) some comments, too; some of them here, some of them elsewhere. It got to the point on Truth's blog where I had to do a series of shorter comments (fearful that I'd get disconnected if I did a lengthy one). I don't know what the malfunction with Blogger is.

The Patriot Act passed 99-1, as I recall. Only Russ Feingold had the testicles to oppose it. And Mr. Obama is continuing the warrantless wiretaps, rendition, Gitmo, etc.. The Nazi card (in my opinion) is shameless and I don't think that either side should use it.

Yes, but because my thinking is oversimplified and dichotomous I must ignore those facts.

Anyway... I split my comment in two and Blogger doesn't take exception to my words and move them to the spam folder... makes no sense to me. Yes, I've been getting those "service not available/error 503"s quite a bit recently. Which is why I usually save my comments in a text document before publishing.

Heads up Will, your friend Voltron played the shameless Nazi card (or "Freedom Fan", who actually authored the post, although THIS is from the "Voltron Ruffian Blog")...

"If you want to participate in the latest MSM craze, the Goebbels Big Lie Smear of the Tea Party movement as racists"...

Discredited liar Breitbart is a "national hero"?? I sure as hell don't buy that ridiculous claim.

I don't know why FF uses rhetoric like that. I totally agree with you that he shouldn't. Say what you want about Mr. Obama, I'm pretty sure that he isn't a Nazi or a Communist.
