Yeah, the Arabs didn't want Jewish refugees because after their "certain" victory they didn't want to deal with a sizeable Jewish minority in their country (which wouldn't have been Palestine but rather an extension to Iraq or Syria) which would have been unacceptable. So kill 'em first, I guess.
