And what exactly is he referring to when he says, occupation? The Israelis left Gaza almost 20 years ago. Yeah, they have a blockade but that's just because the Palestinians were smuggling in armaments and material that can be used to make the damned shit. And even in Judea and Samaria there's isn't a huge Israeli presence (checkpoints mainly).
As for the settlements in Judea, I probably agree with Obama on that. Constructing communities in disputed territory isn't a good idea and certainly doesn't bring about peace, but that's not what he was referring to, I'm pretty sure. Of course if we had an honest media here, journalists would have asked for clarification but being that we don't nobody did. Per usual.
