Hopefully I've made myself clear over the years. I strongly oppose Israeli settlements in these disputed territories, not simply because of a perception that it hampers the prospects for peace but also on ethical grounds. Of course now that we've seen how Hamas is still acting 18 years after Israel removed all of their settlements in Gaza, that whole "prospects for peace" argument seems to be withering, doesn't it?
