Yeah, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and posit that it MIGHT have had something to do with the fact that those very same scorpions were investigating ole Jacob on charges of corruption, money-laundering, racketeering, and fraud (he had evidently grease-balled himself out of the rape charges by then). Just a wild hunch.
