The Strangest Musical Pairing in Human History?

I'm probably going to have to go with Jeff Beck and Donny Osmond (the number, "Ambitious", from Beck's 1985 album, "Flash")..........................................................................................P.S.. Though, yes, an equally strong case could probably be made for that cringeworthy Bing Crosby/David Bowie collaboration on the "Little Drummer Boy".

That Bing and Bowie one grew on me until I loved it. Took many years though, many. Ever hear Bob Seger's version?

Not up on the current musical scene (since Buddy Holly), but
the combination of David Hasselhoff and Laura Branigan
seems odd . Bias, perhaps as I find Mr. Hasselhoff
an odd fellow: maybe being surrounded by beach babes on Baywatch and a car in Knight Rider that surpassed him in IQ?

Beck is awesome...

Maybe if I had just heard the Crosby-Bowie collaboration I might have liked it more but the video - yuck!......As for Hasselhoff, the first thing that always comes to my mind is that Norm MacDonald line from SNL; "Germans love David Hasselhoff."
