Look, I'll admit it here. Your resume (Dartmouth, University of Virginia Law School) is a lot more glistening than mine is (all of my degrees having come from state schools). But at least I try and do a wee-bit of research prior to popping off.....................................................................................Lets just take immigration, for example. I saw you on The O'Reilly Factor the other night and damned if you didn't dust off YET AGAIN that thoroughly discredited notion of an illegal immigration crime wave sweeping America. It is pure bullshit and, while, yes, I really do hate to lecture an attorney on the concept of evidence, a smidge of a tutorial IS in order here.......................................................................................a) Anecdotal evidence (of which you speak in plenitude) is the weakest type in that science advances via aggregates and b) the hard evidence here is unequivocal AND YOU ARE WRONG (the fact that even undocumented immigrants commit crimes and are imprisoned at a significantly lower rate than that of native-born Americans). I mean, I know that you, O'Reilly, Dobbs, and the rest of those nativist schmucks in the blogosphere just love to stoke the fire, demonize, etc. but enough is enough, lady.
