I'd like to think so. It is always disconcerting when some strange ideas find adherents;
neo-nazis, holocaust deniers, etc.
I worry a bit about the anti-vaccine movement and Dr. Oz selling snake oil, but overall, yeah, it keeps us all interested.
(I'm reading a study of the two
groups arguing about Richard III
in England, one considering him practically a saint, the other thinking him the devil incarnate.)

Not so much on college campuses these days, unfortunately.

On Idaho college campuses, a tiny but vociferous minority, supported by NRA clout has overcome the vast majority of
students, citizens and faculty to
permit the carrying of concealed weapons. Handy in intro to polysci and astrophysics labs,
I guess. (all sides were NOT
heard from)

Will: Whatever it is, you won't get it if any sort of "Fairness Doctrine" comes back, that's for sure.

It's not free/uncensored if it has to get "government thinks it is fair" approval.
