Just Sayin'

There are people on the (far) left who would blame Reagan for the Tate/LaBianca murders if they could.

Are you implying that he is not responsible?!?

He was much too busy covering up (for Castro, LBJ, Hoffa, Hoover, etc.) the Kennedy assassination.

Jesus Christ on a friggin skate board.....the guys been out of office for almost 23 years and the left is still blaming shit on him.Yet they refuse to hold Obie responsible for anything negative.Amazing, absolutly mind boggling.

I'll admit it, Russ, I'm not a humongous Reagan fan (I give him credit for certain things and blame for others). But to hear some of the progressives say that he's the worst President of all time (worse than Buchanan and Harding!!) is really pretty stupid. All of these fellows are mixed, every single frigging one of them.

You're NOT a humongous Reagan fan? You referred to him using the affectionate nickname those who idolize him use ("The Gipper"). I thought it was true love.

I don't know what the hell you'd think the "far left" would compare Reagan to Manson. Reagan's policies resulted in the deaths of MANY more people.

Roanld Reagan WAS the worst president ever. Our country survived the presidencies of the two other fellows you mention, but the policices instituted by Reagan (starve the beast and supply side economics) are still with us today (as is Reagan's debt)...

and there is a very real possibility that a serious crash is coming as a result.

Everybody calls him the Gipper, for Christ (some people affectionately, some people derisively)! Man, are you getting frigging paranoid (I gave Reagan B-, remember?).......And LBJ's policies resulted in more deaths than Reagan's. Your frigging point with this ISSSSSS?......Reagan effectively reduced the tax burden on the wealthy once. Yes, the rates went down a second time in 1986, but that was a function of the (bipartisan, revenue neutral) Tax Reform Act (rates went down but so, too, did deductions). In addition to that, social spending as a % of GDP DID NOT go significantly down under Reagan. To say that Reagan is the worst President in U.S. history is absolutely ludicrous. Another one of your favorites, George W. Bush, was far more irresponsible during his tenure than Reagan was.
