Knew that they had possessed the contraption as early as late 2019 but wasn't so certain about the verification issue. Of course since it was a relatively straightforward process that likely didn't take more than a week or two (interview the repair shop guy, examine the contents, etc.), the timeline completely lines up and shocked I most assuredly should not have been.
