On the Slurs, "Racist", "Homophobe", Islamophobe", "Transphobe", "Misogynist", etc.

Yeah, not only have these terms lost their power due overuse (anybody to the right of Rachel Maddow seems to get tagged these days), they're making us more dumb in that they've literally become a substitute for thinking in colleges, the entertainment world, the media, etc. (this as East Asia continues to focus strictly on academics). Hopefully we can eventually shed some of this idiocy but the way that things are rapidly unfolding (huge deficits, open borders, etc.), yeah, I think that we might be fucked. Venezuela, anybody?
