On the Fact that America's Founding-Fathers Saw the Position of President as Predominantly a Ceremonial One (with Even the Main Role of Commander-In-Chief Being Dependent Upon the Congress Declaring War) and, so, Yeah, the Presidencies of Lincoln, Wilson, the Two Roosevelts, LBJ, Nixon, Bush Jr., etc., etc. Would Have Troubled Them Immensely

And the thing is, once Presidential power is accrued, it is extremely rare for anyone in that position to surrender it (Coolidge and Cleveland being the only two that I can think of). I mean, just look at Bush, Obama, and now Trump. It's frightening......and have you taken a look at who's in the bullpen warming up (Sanders, Warren, Harris, Booker, etc.)? "Surrender this", is what those buffoons are likely to say. Yeah, huh?
