On the Fact that (According to Jerome A. Greene's Book, "Battles and Skirmishes of the Great Sioux War, 1876 to 1877") the Legendary Shoshoni Chief, Washakie, Risked His Own Life to Protect the Wounded Body of Captain Guy Henry by Fighting Off Countless Sioux Warriors at the Battle of the Rosebud
So not only did the Crow and Ojibwa tribes side with the whites against the Sioux, so, too, seemingly did the Shoshoni (probably due to the numerous atrocities committed against them by the Sioux). Interesting (not to mention a lot more nuanced than the current narratives emanating from our Marxist historians).
