On the Fact that There Were Actually Some Principled Reasons to Oppose Kavanaugh (His Close Relationship to Bush, the Fact that He Helped to Craft the Surveillance State and Would Probably Rubber-Stamp Increases In Executive Power, etc.) but Instead of Focusing In On Those the Democrats Took About as Nasty a Road as One Can Take and Attempted to Destroy the Man's Character

I usually don't give a rat's ass which party wins in that I find them both venal (the Republicans with their neocons and religious nut-jobs and the Democrats with their SJWs and identity politics) but if this is how the Democrats are going to go about trying to retain their power, maybe they shouldn't have it anymore, I'm just sayin'.
