On the Fact that a Republican President, a Republican House, and a Republican Senate Are Presently Presiding Over a $1.2 Trillion Deficit

Yeah, this is what drives me up the wall about the Republicans. They talk an awesome game about cutting the size of government and then they proceed to grow it at a rate every bit as fast as the Democrats. Very disappointing and as strong an argument for divided government as you can get (though even there it isn't a sure thing as Reagan and O'Neill pounded out some massive deficits in their day as well).
