On Claims from Amnesty International that Very Few of the Palestinian On Palestinian Murders During the Second Intifada Were Ever Investigated by the Palestinian Authority and None of the Alleged Murderers Were Ever Prosecuted

As to why these people were killed it seems to divide into two categories: a) those who advocated a peaceful resolution to the Israeli conflict and b) anyone who ever possessed the temerity to question, challenge, or oppose the P.A.. Of course it's also important to point out that a) many of these accusations were either bullshit or hugely exaggerated, b) Arafat and his underlings were invariably the proverbial judges, juries, and executioners, and c) it's easy to get those approval stats up when you murder your critics and scare the rest of the people into silence.
