On the AP Writing a Story Entitled, "UN Predicts Disaster if Global Warming Not Checked", In Which They Assert that if Global Warming Isn't Reversed by 2030 Rising Sea Levels Could Wipe "Entire Nations Off the Face of the Earth"

The problem here is that the story wasn't written in 2019 but rather 1989 and the projected date for this horrifying event wasn't 2030 but rather 2000. Yeah, it appears as if the 12 year doomsday scenario has quite the long pedigree........................................................................................................P.S., The scenario comes from a 2019 paper by the great Michael Shellenberger so a major hat-tip to him of course.
