You've also got the nasty impact on wildlife (the frying of bats, birds, insects, etc.), the fact that when you include the necessary fossil fuel backup and high resource intensity you really aren't reducing carbon emissions all that much, the exorbitant cost, etc., etc........But, hey, we're only talking about taxpayer money here, right?
