Keith Olbermann will replace Morgan. He is immensely popular right now, at the top his game, is very thick-skinned, and had a great ability to see both sides and speak to the sensible center like no-one else. Thing is, he is so busy right now he might not have time, and the size of the CNN audience would be a step down from the No. 1 ratings perch he is used to commanding.
Olbermann has a half hour nightly sports show on ESPN at 11:00 p.m..Due to his past he cannot even mention politics on this show. He was out all last week with a case of the shingles....so they said.

I actually kind of liked Morgan initially and it wasn't until he went completely overboard on the gun issue that I started to sour on the fellow.
I think the NRA got his ass scotched......that and shitty ratings.
He was a terrible replacement for King.
How 'bout Jay Leno next up? I hear that he's available and we know that he's better than the Brit for sure.
And unlike Morgan, Leno knows his subject.
Leno has way too much left in the tank to ride off into the sunset, in my opinion....That, and he seems to be pretty even-handed as well.
Always liked Leno. He's not done. We'll see him in some venue or my handle ain't rational.
