I tried to find a source on this, and every single one I found on Google had overwhelming racist comments about "ugly" Mongolians, or maniacal conspiracy theories Jews that controlled the USSR at the time (which people like WD might love, but make no sense otherwise).

I stopped after several. Are there any upstanding sources?
