Note to Rick Sanchez 1 (And Likely the Last)

Dude, you're not a minority. You're a Caucasian-American of Cuban extraction with zero in terms of an accent. If you changed your name to Sveinung Lomborg, we'd think that your were Danish. I mean, I'm not exactly sure what your schtik is here, but these feelings of oppression of yours have literally gone beyond bizarre. In fact, Rick, you just might want to have 'em, as my "friend" Mr. O'reilly calls it, taze you again, bro.

Wikipedia says "Sanchez was born in Guanabacoa, Cuba, a township of Havana, and emigrated to the United States with his parents at the age of two".

Wikipedia also says his full name is Ricardo León Sánchez de Reinaldo.

Hispanic people are still minorities the last I heard... unless you think Wikipedia is lying and Sanchez really is a white guy. Or Danish.

I'm sure there are plenty of other reasons to criticize Rick Sanchez... but falsely claiming to be a minority does not appear to be one of them.

Well from Rick's perspective, I'm sure he thought the daily show "persecuted" him when he had a job at CNN.

But Jon Stewart "persecutes" lots of people in the media, by exposing their combined incompetence and hypocrissy.

Mr. Sanchez IS a white guy!! His lineage is obviously Spanish and not Native American or African American (the 2 ACTUAL minorities who interbred with the Spanish and Portuguese colonists in that part of the new world). He's every bit as much a European American as I am.

Who the hell is Rick Sanchez, and does he matter?

Point taken Will. I will concede this one. I'm no Rich Sanchez fan in any case. But I doubt he, or other Cuban-Americans would agree.

He does the best job at exposing his own. A partisan clown who thinks it is the height of wit to say the F-word in prime time TV.
