 Yeah, the Israel haters have been trying to pull off a balancing act here. On the one hand they can't exactly align themselves with a bevy of troglodytic sociopaths and head-loppers but on the other they can't really drive all that hard to the basket in the other direction, either, in that that would cut significantly into their Israel is evil narrative. My suspicion is that they're largely going to ignore Hamas's crackdown of the protesters and then collectively wait for the next opportunity to dismantle Israel (viciously so, of course). Like I said, a balancing act.
