On the Fact that Not Only Did Russia Invade Poland (Like Germany), They Also Invaded Finland, the Baltic States, and Meddled In Romania and Yet I Can't Seem to Recall Anyone In the West Ever Advocating War with Russia

This is one of the most important unanswered questions in American and European history (and trust me, I'm not championing a war with Russia OR Germany, just trying to understand the motivation......and the logic) and yet for some strange reason it rarely gets asked. My suspicion is that while the allies won the conflict, the victory was about as Pyrrhic as it could be (especially for the British) and so a lot of what we hear from the mainstream historians and others is a form of diversion (from things such as Poland and the rest of Eastern Europe becoming a Soviet vassal state, England long being concerned about the burgeoning German economy way before the war, etc.)......and being that the populace is exceedingly gullible the fantasies pass on.
