On this Flaming Imbecile Going On a Cable Show the Other Day and Referring to Trump's Tax Cuts as "Government Spending" (an Idea so Preposterous that Even CNN's Poppy Harlow Had to Do a Double-Take On it)

She apparently believes that the money is the government's to begin with and that it's only through her kindly graces that we're allowed to keep at least some of what we earn. But even putting aside these fascistic ideas, she's wrong on the data in that Statista clearly shows us that rather than the Trump Tax cuts adding to the deficit, tax revenue actually increased by 48% from 2017 to 2022 (from $3.32 trillion in 2017 to $4.90 trillion in 2022). Yes, deficits continued to be a problem and Trump contributed to them through his profligate spending but it was the spending-spending and not Mr. Trump's modest reduction in government theft that caused them.
