So, How Frigging Boring IS Televised Poker?

It makes golf seem like the Hearns-Hagler fight of 1985.

If given the choice of watching golf or poker I take poker for a grand every time.

I saw "The Cincinnati Kid" with Steve McQueen (and a stellar supporting cast; Ann Margret, Tuesday Weld, Karl Malden, Edward G. Robinson) today and it was actually pretty darned good.

I watched it also Will. You don't realize how good McQueen was.

The World Series of Poker has been going on for the past month at the Rio here.

Last week there was a poker tournament where the buy in was $1,000,000 they had 46 players and the winner got almost 20 million...dollars that is.

The main event is going on right now, they started with over 6,000 players with a buy in of $10,000....the winner will get 10 million.

Lots of money floating around town.

And how 'bout Ann Margret and Tuesday Weld (back when they were both in their mid-20s) in the same movie? That wasn't too darned shabby, either.
