Bachman (is it 2 ns?) kind of perplexes me in that not only is she a lawyer, the gal has a doctorate in law from William and Mary. So, yeah, she has to be pretty smart (she certainly beat down Chris Matthews in their rematch). AND YET, she does say some insipid shit.

Nor does doing postdoctoral research bring with it any extra titles. Rather, postdocs revert to whatever degree they had previously earned once they've finished their research."
Though it does kind of suck that a lawyer can't call him or herself, doctor. I mean, you've got all of these folks with doctorates in psychology, political science, history, sociology, education, social work, and anthropology going around calling themselves Doctor So and So and so why in the hell shouldn't a lawyer whose course load was significantly harder be able to do the same thing? Just a thought here.
CI, I guess that there's a real debate in hospitals as to whether a a doctoral level nurse practitioner or therapist can be called doctor on the premises. The MDs and DOs are obviously against it and I can actually see where it might cause some confusion.

I think the party put a muzzle on Grayson since he got back in the house,have'nt seen him on TV much at all.

I stand corrected, Shaw. Heaven forbid that I give Mrs. Bachmann (and it is 2 ns I now realize) any more credit than she deserves.
