A Jihad on Perspective

I find it a little strange that the Democrats in Congress (George Miller, for example) won't use the term, jihad, to describe the actions of Major Nidal Hasan but they will use it to describe the Republicans in the House over this budget crisis. Methinks that the vitriol has at long last overtaken them (not that the Republicans are necessarily superior, mind you).

It is the political correctness that rules liberal/progressive thinking. It twists the traditional meaning of words/concepts to fit a particular political agenda.

Repeat something frequently enough misusing words/concepts and eventually they become part of the accepted understanding desired by the ideologues PC.

And both sides do it. I didn't mean to imply that the Republicans don't for sure.
