The Literally All-American Boy

Nobody will ever mistake Duke for a college football power. But senior wide-receiver, Conner Vernon, is a GREAT football player. The dude just completed his fourth stellar season in which he ultimately became the ACC's all-time leading receiver in catches (283) and yardage (3,749). And if you think that he's some sort of talentless overachiever here, forget it. The dude runs a 4-4 forty and, at 6'1'', 200, he's as tough as nails going over the middle. The man WILL be playing on Sundays and soon.

NFL appreciates talent, no matter where the player went to college .

And don't forget Jerry Rice (Mississippi Valley State) and Walter Payton (Jackson State), 2 of the greatest in the history of the league.
