Last year there was a 9/11 related memorial. I think it was the one for the Pennsylvania sight. Clinton gave a speech, and I was really surprised. He can across as a storyteller in a Garrison Keillor fashion, much better than I remember him. Much less of the "Bubba". Age had changed the timbre of his voice.

Somehow, i think of Carter as being smarter than Clinton. Just my impression.
It is perhaps based on comparing their prowess as an author. There's no comparison.
Reagan and Clinton. For different reasons and in different ways. Bottom line, smart Presidents get things done, through others.
I enjoy listening to Clinton talk. I mean, yeah, some of it is BS and all but I kind of find him fascinating for some reason.

Nixon and Clinton were both intelligent...but they sure had a knack for getting deep into hot water.
