The Republican's plan is to cut taxes and increase the deficit. Then blame it on Obama. Finally, after retaking the WH in 2012, they'll take a buzz saw to entitlements (I'm not saying that's going to happen, just that that's their plan).
Work till you drop or die prematurely due to a lack of health care. The middle class has to tighten it's belt so rich people can have their tax cuts.
Obviously it's a winning strategy, seeing as that IS what people voted for in the last election.
The Dems (if they had any guts at all) should take this lame-duck session and propose an extension of JUST the middle class tax cuts. Make the Republicans vote no. Put them on the defensive for a change.
