On a Black Lives Matter Activist Named Jarrett Maupin Being Invited to Participate In a Police Use-of-Force Simulation Test, Mr. Maupin Accepting the Invitation, and Afterwards Having a Much More Nuanced View of Police-Suspect Interactions (Specifically Understanding the Necessity of Compliance)

Kudos to Mr. Maupin for a) his willingness to participate in the simulation and b) having the integrity to alter his opinion in the face of new evidence. If only we could get some police-hating journalists like Charles Blow to develop a similar open-mindedness we just might find some common-ground. One can hope, right?
