Hmm, could it possibly be that the government isn't as necessary as some people think when it comes to educating children? And, yes, it's also instructive to point out that these black schools in the South (many of which were started by the glorious alliance of Booker T. Washington and Sears Founder, Julius Rosenwald) had but a small fraction of the financial backing that the white schools had AND THEY STILL CLOSED THE GAP!! Pretty impressive, no?
