Virginia 23 Louisville 21

Wow, I did not see that happening, folks. I mean, I know that Virginia is much improved and they were playing at home and all but, damn, I had Louisville (which is loaded on both sides of the ball) winning this one by 13, 14 points. I guess that that's why they play the damn games.

After trouncing Ohio State, I didn't have VT losing to E. Carolina. But it's all good, because the loss makes Ohio's loss all the worse...and I hate Ohio State.

Go Ducks!

Yeah, I hate the Buckeyes, too. Big time.......And Wyoming has to feel pretty good about "holding" the Ducks to 48; a moral victory of sorts.

Yea....Ohio St. had a real squeaker against Kent St.

Best game of the day was BC beating USC.

Tyler Murphy, the quarterback, had 191 yards rushing on 13 carries; 14.7 yards a pop. Not to bad, huh?

And how 'bout that true freshman for Duke, Shaun Wilson; 245 yards on 12 caries (with 3 touchdowns) - that's over 20 yards a pop! I mean, granted, it was against Kansas and they seem to be down a little but I don't care, it's still an FBS school.

Quite a difference between Kansas and the 9th ranked team in the country who just a week ago beat a very good Stanford team.

True but I think that the lack of depth (due to scholarship limitations) ultimately hurt USC.
