Hillary Clinton Update/Shame on Fox

It appears that Mrs. Clinton has been admitted into the hospital with a blood clot relative to her concussion. Hm, I wonder if any of those idiots over at Fox News (O'Reilly, Gutfeld, Bolton, etc. - and kudos to Greta Van Susteren for defending Mrs. Clinton) who implied/joked around that the woman was faking to get out of testifying are going to apologize for it. A little something tells me here, probably not.

Not likely they will. Pig skin can be pretty damn thick.

Don't get me wrong here. The woman does have some 'splainin' to do. But to say that the chick was faking an illness was really crude of them, I thought.......And, yeah, you're right, fellows like O'Reilly are about as pig-headed as they come.

Gutfeld is the only guy that you listed that I personally like. Red Eye is literally the only show that I watch on any news network at this point.

But yeah, that would be highly shameful of them if they were perpetuating this nonsense that Clinton faked dehydration and a concussion to miss those Benghazi hearings. Despite whatever political differences I have with Clinton, I hope she gets well soon.

Yep, the thick skulled just keep shooting themselves repeatedly in the foot.

Wherever became of the principled conservative class, those like Buckley and Goldwater? Conservatives today seem to be gunning for extinction. Sometimes I find myself wanting to help them.

That's just what I was thinking. Now we have a pathetic party obsessed with Israel, Iran and this pseudo "compassionate" neoconservatism combined with radical populism designed to restrict our civil liberties. Goldwater, Burke, Hume, Kirk, and many others would be turning over their graves right now with the kind of nonsense that's being perpetuated and passed off as "conservatism" these days, especially from Rupert Murdoch's mouthpiece FOX News.

IMO, John Huntsman would be a member of the "principled conservative class".

I agree completely BB-Idaho.

John Huntsman has my vote in 2016 if he decides to run again, along with Rand Paul and Chuck Hagel. If they get a complete moron like that old, unlikable flip flopping douchebag Newt Gingrich, Marco Rubio, Rick Santorum, or Jeb Bush, I'm probably am either going to vote Democrat, possibly for Elizabeth Warren or Hilary Clinton if they decide to run, third party like I had wanted to do in the first place, or I won't even bother with voting altogether and stay home. I want to pay penance for my mistake because I had let several other people's blogs interfere in voting my conscience and the only real reason I had voted for Romney was because he said he would not reappoint Ben Bernanke again, even though he probably would have replaced him with someone who could potentially be just as bad or worse. I hated Romney from the very beginning and looking back, Obama proved how much of a more likable guy he was and how in touch he was with the youth vote. Not getting into some ridiculous war with Iran outweighs all the disadvantages a Democrat candidate like Hilary Clinton would have and I believe she shares most of the same policy positions with Obama anyways.

I didn't know this, but Hilary Clinton was the president of the Young Republicans in her freshman year of college. Maybe she'll realize how important NAFTA is and show her true colors in an economic sense.

Of all the Republicans who ran this cycle, Huntsman, Johnson, and Paul were BY FAR the cream of the crop, in my opinion. They were all decent on the deficit, socially tolerant, and reticent to get us involved in foreign entanglements. It's kinda too bad that the Republican primary voters seemed to be drawn to the more ridiculous candidates.......As for Hillary, I will definitely give her a fair, respectful listen.

Robert: NAFTA is a good start. We need further such efforts to reduce the power of ignorant over-reaching ruling elites who force one-size-fits-few trade restrictions on everyone and steal more of the peoples' money through tariffs and duties. Only the individuals involved in trades are qualified to make decisions concerning them.

We actually have a trade SURPLUS in services and it's growing. Hopefully, gents, that will continue.
