On the Gas-Tax Here in Connecticut

Let's put it this way, folks. I pay more for my gas than the Kennedys do for theirs in Hyannis. 'Nuff said?

Any tax on gasoline above the sales tax that any good/commodity gets needs to be abolished.

Tax it like everything else. No more, no less. This is not anti-tax mania... we just need sense, and moving toward abolishing the idea of using the tax code to engineer society instead of for its only legitimate purpose: to get the money necessary for government to function.
