On Crony Capitalism and Corporate Welfare

Well, we're all against that (unless of course you're name is Dick Cheney, Al Gore, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, etc.). The only issue here is how to end it. From my perspective, the only fool-proof way is to significantly reduce the size of government in that it really doesn't matter who's in charge, corruption is bound to happen. I mean, do you seriously think that corporate America hasn't done swimmingly under Obama; the stimulus (which was a veritable grab-bag for big companies), the bank and car bailouts, the health-care plan, the "green" energy agenda (is that a flashlight in your pocket, GE, or are you just happy to see me?), the tobacco legislation (which was practically penned by Philip Morris), the skating of Google, H&R Block, etc., etc?.......'Cause if you do, then you really haven't been paying attention.

What do you mean "we're all against that"?

I've seen multiple commenters in these blogs defend several of the examples which you list.

Reduce it to 100 people and the odds are you still have corruption, just by fewer people. Blaming it primarily on government is foolishness.

And yes government is too large and inefficient.
