On the Concept of Profligate Deficit Government Spending Leading to Overall Societal Prosperity
Yeah, I'm gonna go with, borderline insanity and no empirical evidence (a reference to Hoover, FDR, the Soviet Union, Japan, Bush Junior, Obama, etc.), on this one, folks.
Deficit spending (and lower tax rates) to stimulate economic activity actually make some sense. But when strong economic activity returns deficit spending should stop and taxes returned to levels preceding the economic downturn.
Pulling in the USA global horns should be considered as well.
