On a) the Claim by Diehard Alarmists that the World is Still Warming and b) People Who Think that it's AOK to Torture the Data
It's embarrassing and the fact that even Phil Jones ("no statistically significant warming
since 1995"), Hans von Storch ("so far no one has been able to provide a
compelling answer as to why climate change seems to be taking a break),
and Kenneth Trenberth ("the fact that we can't account for the lack of
warming at
the moment and it is a travesty that we can't.") have all essentially
admitted that the warming has stopped makes it even more so.

See, here's the thing. Politicizing this is ridiculously short sighted. So, since there is such great effort at doing just one can only conclude it's about money and votes.
Little is about the future with the deniers and we'll all be dead already anyway. So I say let the good times roll. Tomorrow is another day and somebody else can handle it.
