On the Fact that the Emancipation Proclamation Didn't Even Free the Slaves in the Union-Controlled Louisiana Territory

Again, this was not a political document but a military one (the goal of which was to cause a slew of slave rebellions in the South and a toppling of the Confederate government with Lincoln's ultimate goal of course being to colonize the freed blacks in Africa; an act that would have caused unbelievable suffering and death) and how anybody can continue to trumpet it as some sort of seminal treatise on liberty is perplexing to say the least....Lincoln, yeah, some great emancipator.
