Double Down on Stupid

What would be my answer to the question, "so, what's the hard-left's typical reaction to having their collective backs up against the wall (the fact that Medicare is 8 Xs more expensive than they predicted, the fact that 96% of their climate models have crashed and burned, the fact that Keynesian policies have utterly failed wherever they've been tried, the fact that their green energy initiatives have proven to be a total failure, etc.)?"

The green energy initiatives have succeeded wildly at getting their cronies rich. Wasn't that the point?

A) Do not forget GWB and Medicare part D
B) Do not forget thr Keynesian practitioners on the republican/conservative side (RMN).

I see no evidence the climate control models supported by over 95% of climatologists (science) have crashed and burned.

Green energy is the reality of the future. Starting with small baby steps with continues development makes sense IMO.

That 95% figure is bogus, Les. It's based on a very small sample and asks noncontroversial questions that 80% of the skeptics would probably say, yes, to (the fact that there has been SOME warming and that man has probably played a role with CO2, deforestation, urbanization, etc.) as well. And I don't know about you, but when I see 72 of the 75 models overestimating the warming (some of them majorly) I consider that epic failure.......And it depends on what you mean by green. If you're talking hydro, nuclear, and natural gas, I agree; windmills, solar panels, ethanol, etc. - not so much.

Like most things we'll probably let it ride for the future to take care of.

It's good to be older.

Thorium nuclear reactors I see as a strong possibility; safer than uranium and there's a ton of the stuff.
