As for being on the receiving end of insults from these individuals, I don't know, I guess you just kind of get used to it. In those famous words from Al Pacino's character from "Glengarry Glen Ross", "All train compartments....smell vaguely of shit (barely perceptible laugh). It gets so you don't mind."

Hey Will: I like Alec Baldwin's lines the best but thats me.
I know we have been out of touch lately but i visited Lydia's site to see how this whole blow out started. I have some of my own theories here but we can discuss this at length down the road.
It's too bad really...Lydia, like you, puts a lot effort into her Blog. I am what I consider an "angry liberal" over the tactics of the right and everything the Bush admin. has done in general. In the end we can't embrace the tactics we loathe. Thanks for the nod. talk to you soon...

I'm just tired of the character-assassination tactics that extremists on both sides use; same sides of a different coin essentially. Compare this to how Buckley and Moynihan used to sit down and discuss issues so civilly and eloquently. The internet, I guess. We're all experts on politics now. P.S. You know how O'Reilly disparages the entire state of Vermont? Well, guess what, one of the bloggers on Lydia's site one-upped him. The entire state of Texas is a piece of garbage, according to this guy. I mean, talk about one hell of a broad stroke, huh?
