On the Alarmist Anti-Science Smear Site, Skeptical Science
It is full of shit. As any sane, fair-mined person can plainly see here (from the uncontaminated satellite data which has since been corroborated by the equally uncontaminated radiosonde balloon data), there has been NO global warming since the El Nino spike of 1997. Bubkas, and the only way that an individual can make any hay out of this fully lipsticked pig is to either a) fool with the data by taking other factors out (the very same factors that these idiots said were insignificant and hence removed from their models) or b) utilize (and probably cherry-pick from) contaminated and significantly less reliable land thermometers. Of course, what makes these tactics even more deplorable is the fact that even Phil Jones ("no statistically significant warming since 1995"), Hans von Storch ("so far no one has been able to provide a compelling answer as to why climate change seems to be taking a break), and Kenneth Trenberth ("the fact that we can't account for the lack of warming at
the moment and it is a travesty that we can't.") have essentially admitted that the warming has stopped and it cannot get any more embarrassing than that, folks.

I don't know Will. It looks to me like the 13 month average is mostly below the overall average temperature in the first half of the data and above the average in the last half of the data indicating a warming trend.
Will, off topic. I took a quick a internet stroll over to d's site, it appears he likes using our respective sites to develop his material. Flattering really.
Jerry, nobody (save for maybe Sean Hannity) is disputing that there has been SOME warming (around 7 tenths of a degree Celsius over the past 150 years) or even that mankind might be playing a role. The only question here is degree/context (if you start your graph 10,000 ago at the Holocene Warming Optimum, you'd actually see that we're in a COOLING trend). My treatise here is that current level of warming is hardly alarming or unprecedented and that the human factor is at most about a third (natural factors such as oceanic oscillations, solar cycles, cosmic rays, plate tectonics, volcanic inactivity, bacteria, etc. representing the other two thirds). I also strongly feel that the cure is significantly worse than the disease in that a lot of these so-called "solutions" will serious hurt the world economy and keep millions of people in dire poverty (the best defense against climate change is prosperity - compare, for example, the damage from the tsunami in Sri Lanka with the damage from Hurricane Katrina in America).
Les, are you still getting spammed by this asshole (an illiterate in research, statistics, and science)?
Not so much, only four a couple or three weeks ago, usual BS. He has been a busy beaver posting on his LLIN blog. I find it hilarious that he puts up something shortly after I post something.
