On President Nixon's Endangered Species Act (1973)
Guess what? According to the the historian, Jim Powell, it probably accelerated the destruction of endangered species in that it, because it put the cost of maintaining the species on the landholder, motivated/incentivized people to cut down trees and other vegetation in areas where the species had been seen. Less trees equals less habitat. HELLO!!.......................................................................................................P.S. And, yes, the fact that Nixon and those idiots in Congress couldn't even think this one step ahead speaks volumes, DOES IT NOT, folks?
