The Differnce Between the Nazis and Hamas/Hezbollah/The Al Aqsa Martyrs' Brigade?

The Nazis never used women and children as human shields or prompted the feeble-minded to detonate themselves....Other than that, no difference.

The Nazis don't come out ahead on the feeble-minded one. Remember, they wiped out the "feeble-minded" before they ever got to Jews.

The German socialist movement of the mid 20th century had an especial hatred of those it didn't consider "perfect". In the modern era, Bill Maher comes across like a speechwriter for Nazi politicians with his rant that handicapped children aren't even people and have no more worth than that of pet dogs.

The contempt for such people is also present elsewhere in modern socialism (which of course is a social Darwinian ideology which enshrines the rights of the powerful). Places with socialist, "single-payer" healthcare sometimes have policies in place to kill the imperfect, sick, disabled people.

According to a CNN article, government "doctors" act as judge, jury, and executioner, snuffing out 3,000 lives a year.

The Muslim extremists are less well focused than the socialists.

"The feeble-minded" was wrong and I probably should have said, "ignorant and easily led schmucks" instead.

The Wehrmacht had 18.2 million men under arms...not sure about the
Hezbollah bunch.

I'm referring more here to mindset than to power. Yes, the Nazis had more power but I'm pretty sure that if these terrorist organizations had the same capacity, they'd do exactly the same as Hitler.

And need I remind you that the Grand Mufti was not just an admirer of Hitler but a collaborator as well, and that he had fully intended to implement his own "final solution"?............And just to be clear here, when I said, "feeble-minded", I wasn't referring to the mentally retarded (people with Down Syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, etc.) population. Obviously suicide bombers aren't mentally retarded. I was referring more to the true believers, sheeple, and people who are seemingly quite incapable of transcendence, critical thinking, etc..

Good point: true believer and
critical thinking don't mix.

This is the first time that I've ever played the "Nazi card" and hopefully the last (the fact that I've criticized other folks who've used it).

Will: You would be amiss not to use the Nazi card for a group that is ultra-fascist in so many ways, and has as its top priority killing off every Jew.

Actually, I didn't know that (mentally retarded as suicide bombers) but ask me if I'm surprised.

dmarks, there aren't a lot of pro-Israeli Arabs and Muslims out there but there are in fact some. Here are two of the more articulate, courageous, and inspiring ones - 1) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6MMyFdWqoI 2) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cs4eVuFfqUs

Too bad extremist groups like CAIR that are fund-laundering fronts for Hamas are more often the face of Islam in the US.
