Couldn't Have Said it Better Myself

"Industrial wind projects don't work. They produce a trickle of electricity at a vast cost to the consumers. They desecrate the landscape and make people's lives a misery. And they they don't even cut carbon emissions. They are literally a waste of space." Struan Stevenson, Chairman of the European Parliament's Climate Change, Biodiversity, and Sustainability Development Intergroup.

I wouldn't give up on them ever working, or in some places and not others at all. But I strongly believe that these efforts should be left to the free market. No subsidies, corporate welfare, or other special advantage.

Actually I'm semi bullish on solar and geothermal but wind turbines are an even bigger scam than ethanol, in my opinion.
