On the Fact that California has the Highest Taxes and the Shittiest Roads/Bridges

If this doesn't constitute pure bureaucratic ineptitude then we probably need to start from scratch, throw in the towel, etc..

Bad as they are, the worst states seem to be Illinois and Connecticut .

The roads in Illinois are horrible,driving there will shake the fillings out of your teeth.

Road maintenance should be a factor: roads in areas with heavy freeze/thaw should be the most easily worn out, most expensive.

By the way... worst drivers ever? Tulsa.

There's no good reason that California shouldn't have the best roads at the lowest maintenance cost, right? Along with all the southern tier states.
